The music video for “The Omen” was shot in Rotterdam in collaboration with students of the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. We filmed at numerous recognisable locations in the center of Rotterdam, such as the Lijnbaan and the Koopgoot.

We also filmed in Dordrecht near the Merwede river in front of the building where Kae was rehearsing at the time. A lot has changed in Rotterdam and Dordrecht since then, in 2011.

Grateful to many who participated in this clip including my husband, the man in orange, at the risk of his own life 😉 A man who was shopping there at the time didn’t realise we were filming but he was completely absorbed in the story. We had to stop him from interfering/making a scene/ having a physical fight in mind to stand up for one of our men, an actor too. He felt so ashamed after he realised it was a shoot but how could he have known? It would have been quit a different video if we hadn’t had the chance to stop the guy. Just imagine.

The brass band in the video that participated spontaneously were magical, too and the lovely little girl at the end of the clip, you have to know to see her, ran up to the man in orange to see for herself what was going on. Maybe she could help him..?

They all made the video. We will never forget.
